Installation Overview

For a private or permanent instance of SO-CRATES, most folks will want to use our pre-built container image. We publish a container image that is compatible with both Docker and Podman - see the separate Docker or Podman sections.

On Windows or macOS, use Docker Desktop.

If you're running OhMyDebn, it will handle installing Podman and downloading that same container image for you automatically.
